"McKinney" Wildfire in the United States
As of August 2, 2022, "McKinney" wildfire has burned an area of nearly 225 square miles across the country, according to California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. The "McKinney" fire is the largest wildfire in California so far this year. It has caused harm not only to our environment but also our health. When the wildfire is burning vigorously, a large amount of carbon dioxide, smoke, PM2.5 and other hazardous substance will be produced, which will cause dizziness, coma, difficulty breathing, and even paralysis of the nervous central system.

It’s important to keep your indoor air as free of smoke as possible, and an air purifier can help. When choosing an air purifier, there are two key points to keep in mind: 1. Active virus/smoke killing technology. Airdog air purifiers use patented TPA technology for air purification. TPA is an active filtration technology, which using high voltage inside the unit to kill all bacteria, mold and viruses that takes in. While traditional air purifiers with HEPA filter is passive filtration which only collects pollutants that can accrue bacteria and mold over time, doing more harm than good to us.

2. The second thing to consider is room size and CADR (clean air delivery rate). Usually each purifier has its own applicable area. For example, our X5 air purifier is recommended for 400 square feet of room, X8 air purifier is recommended for 1000 square feet of room, and X3 is recommended for 215 square feet of room.
